Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of Skimly (the "Service"), a Chrome extension and related servers operated by Theo Labs, India ("we", "us"). By installing or using the Service you agree to them. Skimly summarizes webpages, PDFs and YouTube videos using AI, and requires Chrome and a sign-in account. The free plan has a fixed monthly allowance of summaries (a PDF uses more of it than a webpage). Pro is a monthly subscription that renews until you cancel, processed by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, under its terms; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and refunds are covered in our refund policy. Pro is offered as unlimited for normal personal use but is subject to fair use: if your usage is unusually high we may switch you to a faster model or pause summaries until your allowance resets at the start of the next month, and we may limit accounts that we reasonably believe are shared, automated or used at commercial scale. Prices may exclude taxes, and we may change plans and prices, giving notice before a change affects an active subscription.
You agree not to break the law, bypass usage limits, share or resell access, use multiple accounts to get extra allowances, send requests other than through the official extension, or disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, and you are responsible for having the right to summarize the content you submit. Summaries are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete, are not professional advice, and should be checked against the original. You keep your rights in your content and allow us to process it only to provide the Service, as described in our privacy policy. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties, may be unavailable at times because it relies on third-party providers, and, to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before a claim. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, you can stop at any time by cancelling any subscription and uninstalling, and we may update these terms with reasonable notice. These terms are governed by the laws of India and disputes go to the courts of India, unless local consumer law lets you bring a claim elsewhere. Questions: theogloballabs@gmail.com.
